Permafrost, the storage provider for Frost
Permafrost keeps it simple. There are no buckets, regions, or endpoints to configure—just grab an API key and start backing up your files.
Take me to my key!Only you can read your backups.
Restores included.
Change or cancel anytime.
Permafrost's setup takes just a few minutes. Here's how it works:
1
Grab your key
Select a storage size below to get started. Copy your key right away, as it is only displayed once.
2
Paste it into Frost
Run `frost init`, select Permafrost as your storage provider, and paste your key when prompted.
3
Hit backup
Run `frost backup` or let your schedule take care of it, and `frost status` shows how much of your storage you've used.
And it's all open source!
The Permafrost API is fully open source. It's documented in Frost's repository, right alongside the source code. Meaning you can check exactly how Permafrost renders or run a compatible server yourself.
